What we collect

  • Information you give us in our forms (contact, configurator, boat in stock, ownership briefing, event registration, newsletter, saved favourites): name, email, phone, the models and options you are interested in, your project, timeline, financing and boating experience, preferred language and your message.
  • Information we receive from Lagoon (Groupe Beneteau) when you contact the manufacturer or meet Lagoon at a boat show and your request is assigned to us.
  • Technical information, only if you accept cookies: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and the campaign or website that brought you here.
  • Anti-spam check: when you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser and IP address to block automated submissions.

Why we use it

  • To answer your request and send the information, configuration, quote or briefing you asked for.
  • To follow up on your project, prepare an offer, manage your order, delivery and after-sales service.
  • To invite you to boat shows and events, and, with your consent, send you news and offers by email.
  • To measure how the site and our advertising perform, only if you accept analytics and advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business and are bound to protect it, and with Lagoon when it is needed for your order or warranty:

  • monday.com (customer relationship management), Brevo (email), Amazon Web Services (website hosting and form processing), Microsoft 365 (email), Cloudflare (security), Google Analytics, Meta and Metricool (audience and advertising measurement, with consent).
  • Lagoon / Groupe Beneteau, the manufacturer, for orders, warranty and the dealer network.
  • NEXA Marketing, our marketing agency, which manages these tools on our behalf.

Some of these providers store information outside Québec, in particular in the United States and the European Union. Before doing so, we assess the protection offered and require contractual safeguards.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working (language, saved favourites, your cookie choice). Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Metricool) are used only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time in cookie settings.

Commercial emails

We send commercial emails only with your consent, express or implied as allowed by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on it within 10 business days.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Information about prospects with no activity for three years is deleted or anonymized. Records of a purchase are kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, withdraw your consent, stop its dissemination, or receive it in a structured format. Write to the person in charge above; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or, outside Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Security

Access is limited to staff who need it, connections are encrypted, and our providers apply recognized security measures. If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
